Everyone will meet at the airport Arrivals Hall at 11:00 AM local time and be ready to go. Lino, Fr. James, and our tour escorts/guides will meet you as we hop on the buses on our way to Augsburg. We’ll have a light lunch (as if that exists in Germany), and get to our hotel. After showering off those nasty plane germs, we’ll have a chance to taste some local beer and have a big welcome dinner.

Sunday,
September 28
This morning we leave at 9am for Fussen and visit the Cinderella-like Neuschwanstein castle and King Ludwig’s former residence. We then have lunch as a group before heading to Ettal Abbey. After a visit of the Abbey, we have Mass. We then drive back to Augsburg for a little free time before a great group dinner.

Monday, September 29
This morning we tour Augsburg and visit the Perlach Church. This has a painting of Our Lady of Knots (a personal devotion of Pope Francis) where we’ll get to celebrate Mass. We then have time for personal prayer and some free time for lunch. We then head to Munich. After checking into our hotel, it’s time for another great group dinner.

Tuesday,
September 30
This morning the day starts with a walking tour of Munich, where we’ll see the world famous Glockenspiel, tour the twin-towered Frauenkirche, visit the Asamkirche, where we’ll have Mass, and more. We then get to experience one of the highlights of the trip: It’s time for Oktoberfest! We’ll have a private section in an Oktobeffest tent from 12-4 where we’ll have lunch, drink beer, and experience everything Oktoberfest has to offer. You’ll then have the evening free to continue Oktoberfest on your own or relax with a dinner on your own.

Today we check out of Munich and head towards Prague. On the way, we stop at the city of Pilzen and visit the world-famous Pilsner Urquell Brewery. After checking into our hotel, we have time to freshen up before heading out for a fun dinner together.

In the late afternoon, you have down time to relax and have dinner on your own.
