FAQs

What happens if it becomes unsafe or unwise to travel?
While other trusted companies are already taking tour groups to the Holy Land and we have a high degree of confidence that we'll be able to travel as planned, we can't predict the future. If prior to departure it looks as if it would be unsafe or unwise to make this trip, it will be RESCHEDULED (*not* cancelled). This means that we would find future dates for this trip to happen and any monies paid would be transferred to the new dates. If you were not able to travel on those dates the first step would be to avail yourself of any trip insurance purchased. Beyond that, we would handle it on a case by case basis.

So, what about trip insurance?
You are NOT required to have trip insurance but we recommend it VERY strongly. In the event that you must cancel your trip or that your trip is interrupted, trip insurance is the best way to ensure you recover as much of your money as possible. Right now, only a few companies are writing policies for an itinerary to the Holy Land. However, we are working with Travel Insured International, which IS writing policies and has a long and respected history in the industry. You can learn more about their policies HERE. We also regularly point people towards Squaremouth.com as a way to source reputable insurance policies.
 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • While we will be VISITING Bethlehem during the day, we will NOT be staying in Bethlehem and therefore the only destination you need to cover is Israel.

  • It is important to understand what is and is NOT covered by your policy before buying. In the event you need to make a claim, you will be responsible for navigating that process.

  • Most policies require you purchase your policy within a short period of time after making a deposit (usually 7-14 days). So this is something you want to look into straight away.

What is the timeline for paying and cancellation?

THERE IS ONLY ONE PACKAGE AVAILABLE

LAND ONLY ($5,599/pp)

This package includes the entire itinerary but does NOT include ANY airfare. YOU are responsible for making your own way to Tel Aviv, Israel to meet up with the group at the TLV Airport at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 17th. If you fail to meet the group on time you are financially and logistically responsible for catching up with the group.

We are recommending either the Delta or United flight that arrives at 9:20am locally.

All rooms are double occupancy. If you are traveling by yourself you will be paired with another pilgrim of the same gender unless the Single Supplement Add-On is selected.

A ROOM TO MYSELF (aka SINGLE SUPPLEMENT ADD-ON)

All rooms are double occupancy unless a Single Supplement Add-On is purchased.  Persons traveling in a pair may designate the other traveler as their roommate during registration. If you are traveling solo and wish to room by yourself, you will need to select the Single Supplement Add-On at the time of registration. Please note that quantities are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Single Supplements CANNOT be added after registration. Otherwise, if you are traveling by yourself we will match singles with other singles of the same gender. It always works out well and usually new friendships come from it!

MEDICAL INFORMATION

Filling out anything on this page is ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. If, however you have a serious food allergy or other medical condition of which we should be aware, we ask that you include that information in the appropriate field on that page before moving on to the rest of the registration process. 

A $1,500 per person non-refundable deposit secures your spot on this trip.

Registering is simple and should take no more than 5-10 minutes. If you have any trouble, HERE is a video that walks you through the process. Your spot is booked once you receive the “PAYMENT RECEIPT FOR LINO'S POP-UP PILGRIMAGE" email. Within 5-7 days of receiving that email you will receive another email with a note from Lino, a recap of important deadlines, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and more.
