Depart the United States.

July 9

Everyone must meet at the Munich airport (MUC) by 11:30 AM local time. There you'll meet Lino, Fr. Dave, Brett and Tyler who will be waiting for you in the Arrivals Hall.  This is when our pilgrimage "officially" begins! We then hop aboard buses and head into Munich. We'll start at a local restaurant

in the city for some delicious German cuisine and beer. Then, we'll check into the hotel (Westin Grand Hotel Munich) and finally have a chance to wash off those airplane germs before we head into Munich's city center. We'll celebrate Mass at St. Benno Catholic Church followed by a walking tour of the city, seeing the Cathedral and the Glockenspiel. We'll then head to dinner with more German delicacies and more beer. With everyone exhausted we'll head back to the hotel for a good night of sleep.

July 10

This morning we check out of our hotel and go to Altötting. We'll visit one of Germany's most celebrated shrines - as Altötting has been the spiritual center of Bavaria for centuries. We'll see the beautiful Basilica, St. Konrad's Monastery, and then celebrate Mass at the

Basilica of St. Anna. After a tasty lunch we hop back on the buses and head to Passau. This is where we board the ship. The amazing Amadeus Silver III will be our home for the next week... and we have the ENTIRE ship to ourselves! All passengers on the boat will be fellow listeners, making it a truly special experience. After checking in and settling into our cabins, there will be a welcome cocktail on the top of the ship as we set sail. This will be followed by a great dinner on board. (Learn all about the ship on the main trip page.)

July 11

The ship arrives in Regensburg and we disembark to visit the city, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture. We'll do a walking tour of the old city with a visit of St. Peter's Cathedral - built in 1280 and one of the most prominent examples of Gothic architecture in Germany, followed by Mass at Alte Kapelle. We then have

some time to explore the city and have lunch on your own before heading to the Spitalkeller Beer Garden for a beer tasting (along with lots of Bavarian snacks). We'll then return to the ship for a little downtime. As the ship departs, we'll have a chance to visit and socialize on deck while taking in the gorgeous views as we cruise down the Danube. Shortly

after departure we'll all gather for a live "radio show" where Lino, Fr. Dave, Tyler and Brett will do Q&A and bring all the laughter you've come to know and love. Then another fun and delicious dinner aboard the ship will conclude our day.

July 12

This morning we disembark the ship and head to Salzburg, Austria! Upon arrival, we'll take a walking tour of the Old Town, stopping for an extensive visit of the Salzburg Cathedral. After some free time for lunch, shopping, and exploring the charming city we'll regroup and visit the Maria Plain Basilica. After a tour of the Basilica and its art we'll celebrate Mass. We then board the buses and head to Linz. Along

the way, the guys will do one of their now legendary "bus radio shows" where you get a chance to ask questions and be on the air! We then arrive in Linz, where we board the ship for a social hour and dinner as the ship sets sail into the night.

July 13

We arrive in Emmersdorf, Austria where we will board buses and take the short trip to see Melk Abbey. We begin with Mass and then have a guided tour of this incredible Baroque style structure, which houses art from the 9th to 15th centuries. We then celebrate Mass here. After some free time we'll have lunch

and then head to Weissenkirchen for a fun and delicious tasting of local wines. Afterward we'll return to the ship and take in more incredible views of the towns and magnificent countryside that line the Danube River as we begin to make our way to Vienna. Another fun and delicious dinner on the ship tonight.

July 14

Today we get to spend in Vienna, Austria! We'll begin with a walking tour of the city where we'll see the Old Town and do a tour of the famous St. Stephen's Cathedral. We'll then celebrate Mass at Votivkirche, followed by some free time for lunch. There will be time for shopping and exploring this "City of Music" which both Beethoven and Mozart called home.  We'll enjoy a wonderful dinner at a local Viennese restaurant before heading back to the ship for the night.

July 15

We'll start today in Bratislava, Slovakia - our third country - as we get to explore this beautiful city all day. We'll begin by celebrating Mass at St. Martin's Cathedral. We'll then tour the Cathedral and walk through the Old Town visiting its famous sights. You'll have time for lunch and shopping. We then return to our ship for a social hour as we set sail

and enjoy the scenery as we cruise during dinner.

July 16

Today is our final day of pilgrimage and we're going to love it! We will begin the day with breathtaking views of Budapest, as we arrive in the Hungarian capital in the morning. Having arrived in our fourth country, we head into the city and celebrate our final group pilgrimage Mass at St. Anna Templom. We then enjoy a walking tour of the city's most important

sites as well as a tour of St. Stephen's Basilica. We then have lunch and free time in the afternoon for last minute shopping and sightseeing. We return to the ship for a social hour, final live "radio show" on board, and fantastic farewell dinner aboard the ship.

July 17

After an incredible week of travel together, our pilgrimage is sadly over. We disembark the ship for the final time and board buses for the airport with a lifetime of memories and new friendships.
